Speaking after an intense training session at the Accra Sports Stadium, where supporters were allowed to watch, Ayew expressed confidence in his team’s ability to secure victory.
A passionate crowd gathered to witness the Black Stars in action, offering their unwavering support ahead of the must-win fixture. Among the spectators were Black Stars legends, including former captain Asamoah Gyan, who took time to chat with Ayew before the captain addressed the fans.
“I want to thank everyone for coming to show your support,” Ayew said, standing before the excited crowd. “My teammates and I can assure you that we are ready—we are ready for the battle. We will give our all. I know the first task is on Friday, and we will make sure that we get the three points.”
Acknowledging the team’s recent struggles, Ayew remained optimistic about turning things around. “We know that we are in a difficult situation, but we will turn it around. When I see you guys standing here, I know that definitely, it is going to be a positive result on Friday,” he declared.
